How I Work

HOME CONSULTATION

I quite often visit families in their home in order to evaluate the issues and to get to know you as a family, 

 This enables a joint approach to be tailored for you and your baby's needs.

Each consultation usually lasts for approximately two hours, following this the plan will be 

emailed and ongoing support is offered until the issue is resolved.

PHONE CONSULTATION

My phone consultations have the same approach as home

visit offering a thorough assessment.. A two hour consultation may be split into as many phone calls as needed.

Perfect for families whose need is urgent and who are looking for a prompt response.

SKYPE

Skype offers the opportunity for a face to face consultation in the comfort of your home and so enables me to offer the support and guidance you need.

 Perfect for long distance clients.

A follow up plan is emailed and ongoing support is offered

until the issue is resolved.

Night Nannying

I have been night nannying now for many years, for singles and multiples.  Employing a night nanny can be beneficial for many reasons, just getting a good nights sleep to recharge, helping to get a routine into place, helping a baby to self settle or get rid of a dummy. 

During the night all of your baby's needs will be taken care of from feeding, nappy changing and settling back to sleep. If you wish to continue breastfeeding in the night your baby can be brought to you when they need a feed so this wont be a problem.

Also if you are considering night weaning or you would like to discontinue breastfeeding and are unsure how to start either of these.

Weaning Workshop

I offer a 3 part weaning workshop, firstly how to prepare for this exciting stage, making sure your baby is ready, equipment needed and good first foods to try. I will also discuss options of spoon feeding or baby led weaning. 

2nd part guiding you through your babies first tastes and thirdly how to progress over the next few months.

This can all be done over the phone or home support if required.
